At the end of May 2020, vignerons of the TAMAR VALLEY in northern Tasmania will throw open their winery doors to the public to celebrate VINTAGE 2020. Visitors will travel to the wine estates, great and small, through the stunning landscapes of the region.

In a rich and varied program from 10-5 each day, winemakers and viticulturists will impart their knowledge and skills. Masterclasses, tours and talks will reveal what makes the Tamar Valley wine producers internationally acclaimed. The Festival program has been designed so that activities are repeated throughout the weekend so visitors can plan their own personalised program.

Each host vineyard has partnered with local food, artists and performers to add a very local flavour to the Festival program.

Take THE JOURNEY to celebrate Vintage with us. From Friday night to Sunday, there is something for every wine lover.

A festival ticket includes entry to 22 vineyards for the two days, wine tastings at each cellar door and a uniquely diverse atmosphere at each wine estate. Once you have your ticket there are more options to choose.... evening dinners, masterclasses, a wine knowledge competition and seafood breakfasts. And we'll help you take THE JOURNEY with organised travel options. Make your decision early and get the 'early bird' ticket price and your first choice for Dinners and Masterclasses. These places are extremely limited.

There will also be lots of food options on THE JOURNEY. You won't go hungry. Small plate/glass of wine for $25 will be available at North West Tamar: Moores Hill, Iron Pot Bay, Cabbage Tree Hill.
